#ALLINFORKIDS
In celebration of Earth Month, Communities in Schools (CIS) of Savannah has partnered with Goodwill of South East Georgia and is encouraging the community to donate their gently used items at collection points throughout the community under the campaign of #GIVE1POUND #ALLINFORKIDS. Donations delivered to Goodwill directly should be accompanied by a CIS of Savannah donation voucher for those donations to benefit this effort. CLICK HERE for CIS – Goodwill donation Voucher
Beyond the impact donations will have through Goodwill’s job training programs, via the #GIVE1POUND initiative, Goodwill will provide shopping vouchers to CIS Savannah to distribute to students and families in crisis to buy clothing and household items at Goodwill Southeast Georgia retail stores. CIS of Savannah is working in partnership with Savannah Chatham County Public Schools (SCCPSS) Student Services to distribute the vouchers to ensure that families in need across the district can benefit from this effort.
#GIVEONEPOUND COMPETITION: Participating Schools and students have the opportunity to compete with each other throughout the month of April. The school with the most donations will be recognized at the end of April and students can participate in a weekly prize drawing by posting photos of their donations online with the tag #GIVE1POUND #ALLINFORKIDS.

All items donated to Goodwill are sold, repurposed or purchased by 3rd party vendors who bulk recycle products into new materials.
